How did you become interested in our sport? My mother got me involved as a teenager.
Tell us about your most memorable moment in our sport? One of my most memorable moments was at the International, at McCormick Place in Chicago, when my son finished our import CH Thunderwolf's Golden Eye RN with a Best of Winners. My first Bred-By, CH Savoyard Adrienne RN, took Best Opposite that day.
What is it that attracted you to the TVKC? I met Erin and Gregg and was invited to come as a guest while at a show in Greenville, SC. I missed being involved in my old club in Decatur, IL, and everyone made me feel so welcome when I came as a guest.
What do you like most about being a member of TVKC? What I like best is that it is a club for more than one venue. I am interested in many events, as are my dogs, and I will be able to help in multiple areas.
How do your dogs impact your life? My first Belgian after I became an adult, came at a very difficult time in my life. Her name was Viva, and she saved my life. She helped me re-learn Breed Competition, together we learned Agility, Herding, Tracking, Barnhunt, and she was my emotional support dog. We went so many places together, having adventures. I feel blessed that I have 3 of her grandpups, now.
Is there anything that you would like to share? My dogs add joy and delight to my life, and I can't imagine life without them.
