How did you become interested in our sport? I’ve had dogs all of my life. As a child, I showed dogs for my parents. As an adult my family fostered several Huskies for a rescue. One of my sons obtained a Border Collie and that dog hooked me on the breed.
Tell us about your most memorable moment in our sport? In an agility trial my knee gave out and I crashed into an A-frame. My dog looked so disgusted with me!
What is it that attracted you to the TVKC? It’s nearest to our home.
What do you like most about being a member of TVKC? The members are engaged, friendly and supportive.
Do you think TVKC meets your needs as a member? If not what areas would you like to see improvements in? I’m so new I’ll pass on answering. What I’ve seen so far has been very positive.
How do your dogs impact your life? Oh, man. I am retired and they keep me busy! I love doing all of the various sports with them and we’ve done a lot of exploring of our new state. We even have done some overnight back country hikes. I could not imagine life without my pack!
